Sentry and Schwab "Seconds"

The Sentry and Schwab "Seconds" includes fireproof file cabinets which have either been damaged in shipping or have some type of cosmetic defect. As such they are offered at a considerable discount.

Every item is guaranteed to perform as a fireproof file cabinet. That is, the fireproof integrity has not been compromised and the UL rating is still valid. Your documents WILL be protected in a fire. All products classified as factory seconds are classified as such due to cosmetic defects only. All of the units are in good working condition and will perform as a record protection container as indicated by the UL rating.

Terms and Conditions

All units are subject to availability and are on a first-come, first-serve basis.

All units are verified to be in "working condition." Working condition is defined as:
Drawers and doors open/close
Drawers and doors close well enough to maintain UL fire-resistance rating only
All locks work according to manufacturers' specifications.

Any other structural, mechanical or cosmetic defects are NOT the responsibility of SentrySafe.

All sales are final on all units delivered in working condition.

Any and all claims must be communicated to SentrySafe within five (5) business days of receipt of product. This means if your cabinet arrives and is not in "working condition" as described above, you must contact SentrySafe at 800-828-1438 within 5 business days.

After initial communication to SentrySafe, ALL claims must be confirmed and submitted to SentrySafe in writing. Contact us to make this happen.

SentrySafe is NOT responsible for any unconfirmed claims.

SentrySafeTechnical Support Group will remedy confirmed claims by selecting at their option one of the following:
product return, repair, replacement or refund.

If unit is to be replaced, replacement will be with a unit in similar condition. SentrySafe will provide dock-to-dock delivery only. Any and all additional expenses including but not limited to inside delivery and installation are the sole responsibility of the consumer.

SentrySafe reserves the right to make changes at any time in regard to price, product specification and design without notice.
